01-Aug-2002 G2 comic inked
Perspective: final for class
Sequential art demonstrating perspective as well as 1st attempt at
doing sequential art. Generation Two characters are used to illustrate this.

01-Aug-2002 Defensor vs Bruticus grey
Perspective: 5-point Distortion
The prof recommended some value to help the viewer distinguish between
the characters and to help show the shield bubble. I'm sure he was right
in that the b/w version was kind of confusing especially to people not
familiar with the Transformer Gestalts.
29-Jul-2002 Defensor vs Bruticus
Perspective: 5-point Distortion
Defensor throws up a shield and Bruticus's reflection and some buildints
are seen on the shield bubble.
25-Jul-2002 Street Battle b/w
Perspective: Reflection
Made up a nice street scene that demonstrates some reflecting going on.
25-Jul-2002 Street Battle greyscale
Perspective: Reflection
By adding some value to the piece, I hope to make the effect more clear that
these missiles are whizzing past Prime and a huge beam (probably Megatron's)
blasts down this street and hits a building in the distance. We see the
building and explosion in the reflection of the building beside Prime.
Also, that's supposed to be the top of Jazz in car mode zipping by.
We're getting some reflective distortion off his car roof too.
21-Jul-2002 Deluvia
Perspective: Reflection
a super-heroine I made up. She can manipulate water. Here, she forms
a piercing bolt out of the lake she is wading in.
Her real name would be "Brooke" and her hero persona would be "Deluvia".
21-Jul-2002 Mr. Majestic
Perspective: 2-point vertical
Wildstorm's "Superman"-type hero, Mister Majestic. He is hovering near
the WildC.A.T.s headquarters, "HALO". A "PSI" building is nearby commemorating
another corporate entity in the Wildstorm universe.
13-Jul-2002 Pier 39 sketches
Perspective: depicting real environments
The class took a field trip across the street to draw scenes from the
popular Pier 39 plaza.
06-Jul-2002 Armada Sureshock
1-point perspective using inks and prismacolor cool greys.
First, the inked version, then one with value.
03-Jul-2002 Armada Grindor
1-point perspective using inks and prismacolor cool greys.
First, the inked version, then one with value.
01-Jul-2002 Bridge of an Autobot Ship
1-point perspective in simple inked line art.
I left out some parts of the Decepticon ship so I could draw in some explosions
if / when I need to bring tone and value into this drawing. Yup, Sunstreaker's
head is a little... uncomfortable.

28-Jun-2002 Inked greyscale Thumbnails
Demonstrating perspective using line, value, overlapping, foreground/background.
I had a lot of fun throwing a bunch of ideas at the paper. I've been working on
Cliffjumper's pose for quite a while (using the concept from my Minerva picture
as a basis). I'm quite glad with the perspective on his body.
I also like how Fortress Maximus's head turned out as well.
