Back in Junior High, my friend told me of a Transformer he saw. He described it as a race-car that could split apart into two robots. I know of no such Transfomer but he insisted it was.
In retrospect, now that I've seen bootlegs, he probably saw some obscure knockoff toy. Anyway, it served as inspiration for this team of Vehicions -- two robots who combine into a formula racer.
